I told my wife this morning that today would be the day that the recruiter would call with the results of the selection board. We have been waiting 6 weeks for the results and were promised that they would be in by the end of February. Well, February has come and gone. That's the Army for you. I don't know why, I just had a feeling that today would be the day.
At noon today I finally got the call from my recruiter, just as I thought, and the results were in, I made it (Endlich!). Nine months of pushing the application pagers were finally over. Now I am sure a whole set of new papers are being stacked/digitized for me to push around for the rest of my career.
It is hard to believe that it took 9 months just to apply and get selected as a Medical Entomologist in the Army. Now the fun begins.........
